Future of piq, needs ACTUAL attention

If I got beef with you (meaning LWH and ArtRanger mostly), consider the beef over, I now bear only a grudge against those who have abandoned this site to flee the (previously) dire condition of piq.
"Pixil Art" is, it seems, the sucessor to piq, at least it has managed to grow exponentially, banking on the mass exodus of the 'middle class' piq uses (middle class, being users ranks 100-300, not too small, but also not exactly 'acclaimed').
Get this straight: Pixil art would not exist without the failing state of piq in early 2016, which saw the loss of many members of the site. I mean, Pixil Art is a shitty knockoff of piq, that replaced it the second it seemed that this site died. A great percentage of Pixel Art users are former piqers.
As it stands now, Pixil Art is bigger than piq, by nearly 3 times the size I estimate, and has grow so through many features of the relatively new site (many stolen from piq, such as the PoTD, and contest features).
And! How? How, has the site grown so much, in such a small space of time. The more users you have, the more you get... Well that, and the consistent attention from a competent team, of likely 10 times the size of piq.
Don't get me wrong, Pixil Art is dogshit. The interface is ugly, and the drawing tool, while allowing to change size of canvas, is actually harder and less versatile than piq's editor.
So besides the site missing a fe fundamental features, such as different cansas sizes, featured piqs and of course better ranking/moderating system, PIQ IS BETTER THAN PIXIL ART.
Now, I don't blame Pixil Art for this, but I blame piq. WHERE ARE THE ADMIN's and I think its great that they have returned, and their plans sound very promising, but I am disappointed by the lack of updates thusfar OR even the lack of information/updates given to us by them over the past month or so, besides a single fucking news article.
If they don't have interest in continuing the site, they should at least establish a sustainable future for the site. Get some more developers... are you saying that computer programming, one of the fastest rising proffesions in the world as of now, doesn't have a few extra employees you could hire?
Why not appoint some new mods, don't get me wrong I love the old ones, but besides Furry, the others are seldom seen.
And the technical issues of piq? Why do they still exist, downtimes have returned, if you haven't noticed, and every few months, a period of month-long disrepair hits the site, rendering it unusable. WHY IS THE FORUM still broken?
Chill out for a second, how about we fix the fucking fundamentals, before we focus on features which could be used to overtake, Pixil Art (which is a doable task, because piq is far more accessible).
Consider this shit for a second: this site has the potential to replace Pixil Art as the primary pixel art site, but only if the administrators, pull the finger out, and put the effort in. Add new features, I don't give a shit, make it work! Thats what I care about.
This site is actually more popular than Pixil Art, according to searches (I presume), but the constant technical issues, and stagnant community cause the community's growth to be stunted.
And WHY THE FUCK is there still an issue with activating accounts, every day I get people messaging me 'how do I activate my account', please explain, don't you guys have some kind of experience in development? Of course you do, and you fuckers have the potential to program the shit out of piq, so that it annihilates its painfully mediocre competition.
Fix the site. Get some new features. Expand the development team maybe? Get on the fucking case, before Pixil Art grows to large to be overtaken.
And, to get sentimental on you, can I just say, this site has some history. Its been around for NEARLY a decade. There has been some insane pixel art posted on this site, likely not to be matched by any other site (except perhaps Pixel Joint, but that site is far more professional oriented). Some mad shit went down on the site, and thousands of people have had memories of this site as their fist pixel art experience.
I remember 4 years ago, when Ryph was the shit, and how many poeple that were around then, are still around now! Thats what I call loyalty, you think any of these cunts on Pixil Art, have that, fuck no.
If anybody leaves piq for Pixil Art, don't mourn their loss, condemn those sellouts, tell them to gtfo, don't give them simpathy, too many times we have responses such as "No, don't leave :(", when in reality it should be "Get lost, you aren;t welcome in this community any more." Hell if I leave this site, tell me to fuck off, I know some of you would love that (but I aint leaving no time soon).
So yeah, post this on Tom's page maybe? The admins, I mean I love those guys, but if they don't want to work on the site can they at least ensure it has a sustainable future.
